Gurdwara Pipli Sahib is near Putlighar, Khalsa College. It is believed that many devotees after hearing the news of enthronement of Guru Arjan Dev Ji started their journey to Amritsar from Kabul. Pipli sahib is a sacred memorial which was built at the place where devotee of Guru Arjan Dev Ji stayed after their tiring journey from Kabul. Mata Ganga, wife of Guru Arjan Dev Ji, along with the Guru Arjan Dev Ji, served food and water to the tired and hungry sangat at this place.
