The bridge that leads to the main Shrine Harmandir Sahib is known as causeway. It starts from the Darshan Deori which is toward the shore end of the causeway. The Darshan Deori itself is decorated in artistic style. Devotees have to cross this causeway to reach Harmandir Sahib. The causeway is 202 feet in length and 21 feet in width.
