Sri Guru Arjan Dev JI was born in the year 1563 in Gurdwara Chobara Sahib, in Tarn Taran district. This Gurdwara is situated in Goindwal Sahib town. The Gurdwara was the family home of Guru Amar Das ji. This is also the place where Guru Ram Das Ji and Guru Amar Das Ji breathed their last.
