Gurdwara Shri Darbar Sahib (Angithia Sahib) is located in Khadoor Sahib. Everyday Guru Amar Das ji, third Sikh Guru, used to bring pitcher of water from Goindwal Sahib. One day he tripped and fell after hitting a stake. It is believed the stake became green after the touch of Guru Sahib. The stake is still there. Guru Arjan Dev Ji and Guru Ram Das Ji used to rest here while on their way to Amritsar. Sri Guru Hargobind Singh Ji also stayed here with his family after the marriage of his daughter. Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji came from Baba Bakala to pay a visit to this holy place. Guru Angad Dev Ji lived in Khadoor Sahib for a long period of time and breathed his last here. The place where Guru’s last sacred rites were performed is known as Angitha Sahib.
